BRUCE NAMED PET OF THE WEEK; CLEAR THE SHELTERS ADOPTION EVENT SATURDAY

  

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named Bruce as its Pet of the Week.

Bruce is a 1 ½-year-old pittie mix who Brenham Animal Services says loves attention and does not know a stranger.  He likes to lounge around indoors and will sit in laps for pets, especially belly rubs.

Bruce appears potty-trained and does well on walks.  He does like other dogs, but he would do best with one who is submissive.

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center will host its Clear the Shelters adoption event on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.  Brenham Animal Services will offer free pet adoptions, free microchipping, snow cones, a bounce house, and Touch-a-Truck with the City of Brenham Fire and Police Departments.  KTEX-106’s Eilish and Cowboy Dave will be broadcasting live from the KTEX Country Cruiser.
