THE BARNHILL CENTER TO HOST JOHN SHARP FOR SPEAKER SERIES TUESDAY
Seats are still available for the third program of The Barnhill Center’s inaugural Speaker Series.
The next luncheon, set for Tuesday at Morriss Hall, will feature Texas A&M University System Chancellor John Sharp. The event begins with lunch at 11:30 a.m., followed by the presentation at noon.
Sharp first became Chancellor in September 2011 and is the university system’s longest-serving official in that role. In July, he announced plans to retire in the summer of 2025.
Prior to joining the university, Sharp served in the Texas House of Representatives, Texas Senate, Texas Railroad Commission and as Texas Comptroller.
The Speaker Series closes out on November 22nd with Texas Historical Commission Chairman John Nau.
Single tickets are $50, while reserved tables for eight are $500. Seating is limited, and no tickets will be sold at the door.
