THREE CALLS TUESDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.

The Brenham Fire Department responded to three calls on Tuesday.

One call was for a crash shortly after 4 p.m. in the 1600 block of Highway 290 West.  Units made location to find a two-vehicle accident.  They cleared debris from the roadway and checked both vehicles for leaking fluids, of which there were none.  The department then cleared the scene.

The other two calls on the day were for fire alarms.  The first was around 1:15 p.m. at Kruse Village, 1700 East Stone Street.  Firefighters found that the alarm company was working on the system, so they returned to service.

The second fire alarm was just after 5:45 p.m. at Wee Care For All Child Care Center, 900 East Blue Bell Road.  BFD personnel found a pull station was activated, so they reset the pull station and the alarm system.
