BURTON FALLS TO #2 IOLA IN FIVE SETS

The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team had #2 ranked Iola on the ropes Friday night, but just couldn't deliver the knockout punch as the Lady Bulldogs escaped with a 3-2 victory.

After losing the first set 25-21, Burton came back to win the next two sets 27-25 and 25-23. However, Iola came back to win the final two sets 25-10 and 15-13.

Next up, the Lady Panthers will be taking part in a tri-match tomorrow (Tuesday) at Bellville High School. They will play Round-Top Carmine at 4pm, followed by Bellville at 5:30pm.
