BRENHAM PD ISSUES TEMPORARY DRONE FLIGHT RESTRICTION FOR EXPO GROUNDS
The Brenham Police Department has instituted a temporary drone restriction around the Washington County Expo grounds.
The restriction is in place effective 6 p.m. today (Thursday) through 2 a.m. Sunday, September 22nd, encompassing a radius of two nautical miles.
The department says the precautionary measure is crucial for ensuring the public’s safety and the safety of aircraft operating in the airspace during the fair. It requests that all aviation operators adhere to the restriction and avoid flying within the designated area.
Police say the public’s cooperation is essential in maintaining a secure environment for all guests at the Washington County Fair.
