BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE, BLUECROSS BLUESHIELD REACH LONG-TERM AGREEMENT
Baylor Scott & White Health and BlueCross BlueShield of Texas (BCBS) announced today (Friday) that they have reached a long-term agreement.
The new agreement, which brings several months of contract negotiations between the two entities to a close, ensures that Baylor Scott & White providers and facilities stay in-network for BCBS.
A statement provided by Baylor Scott & White and a message on the BCBS website state that as related documents are finalized, members will continue receiving uninterrupted, in-network care from Baylor Scott & White.
The original agreement was set to expire on July 1st, but the two reached a temporary extension to push the deadline to October 1st.
Further details on the new agreement were not released.
