Fayette County EMS Director Josh Vandever was presented the award last week during the Texas EMS Alliance’s annual education conference.

The award goes to agencies that focus on innovative solutions and demonstrate how teamwork, innovation and a commitment to pursuing excellence has improved the delivery of EMS to the jurisdictions they serve.  Fayette County EMS was chosen for its leadership in mental health, collaboration with partnering EMS agencies, and continuous professional development.

Vandever said the agency is “deeply honored” to receive this award and he is “very proud” of their team.  He said, “It is great to see that the things that the amazing team members within our department are doing are being noticed by other leaders in our profession.”

The Texas EMS Alliance was founded in 2015 to serve as the united voice of Texas EMS agencies.
