TICKETS ON SALE FOR BRENHAM HERITAGE MUSEUM’S INAUGURAL SPEAKEASY GALA NOV. 2
Tickets are now available for the Brenham Heritage Museum’s first-ever Speakeasy Gala.
Visitors are invited on Saturday, November 2nd at 6:30 p.m. to step into the museum as it transforms into an undercover speakeasy, complete with live music from the Texas Gypsies, card and casino games, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and live and silent auctions.
Brad Tegeler, Vice Chair for the Museum’s Board of Directors, says organizers are aiming to capture the authenticity of the Prohibition Era for an event that will be truly unique.
Proceeds from the event will go toward further improvements at the museum and continuing its mission of fostering the history, art, culture and humanities of Brenham and Washington County.
Tegeler says the community’s response ever since the museum’s reopening two years ago has been very positive. He says the museum strives to stay fresh and exciting with a variety of new, hands-on exhibits.
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available by visiting https://brenhamheritagemuseum.org.
The Speakeasy Gala will be one of the featured topics in the next Community Corner program on KWHI, airing at 9:05 a.m. on Tuesday.
