The deadline to apply for a FEMA grant or SBA disaster loan is Thursday, October 10th.

While Washington and all surrounding counties are eligible for some form of public assistance for local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations, individual assistance is only available in the immediate area to those in Austin and Waller counties.

Insured applicants are encouraged to file their insurance claims as soon as possible.

FEMA assistance is not taxed and will not affect Social Security, Medicaid or other federal benefits.

Applications can be made by going to https://disasterassistance.gov or https://sba.gov/disaster

  1. Might be a waste of time to apply…you see reports they don’t have any money…spent on illegals. I hope if you need help you can get it.
