TWIN OAKS HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION EVENT OCT. 19
Residents with hazardous waste they need to get rid of can make plans to attend a free waste collection event next weekend in College Station.
Twin Oaks Household Hazardous Waste will host the event on Saturday, October 19th from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Texas A&M University Services Building, rain or shine.
Items that can be brought include batteries, computers, cooking oil, household cleaning agents, automobile fluids, oil and filters, and TVs.
Residents cannot bring medication, appliances with freon, tires, ammunition, 55-gallon drums, household garbage or business-generated waste.
The collection event will also take new and used books and donations for Books and a Blanket.
