BURTON SWEEPS SNOOK TO FINISH 4-0 IN FIRST HALF OF DISTRICT
The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team wrapped up the first half of district play on Friday night with a three-set sweep over the Snook Lady Blue Jays.
Burton won the sets 25-20, 25-10, and 25-8.
The win improves the Lady Panthers to 26-14 overall and 4-0 in district.

Adison Harmel: 19 assists, 3 kills, 3 digs, and 2 aces
Reagan Roemer: 13 digs
Kelsie Hohlt: 9 digs and 1 ace
Laci Broesche: 8 assists, 5 kills, 4 aces, and 3 digs

Lexi Broesche: 6 digs, 2 aces, and 2 kills
Bailey Glaesmann: 5 kills and 2 aces

Next up, Burton, who has a bye in district play, will stay busy by playing a non-district match on Tuesday against the Brazos Valley Christian Home Educators Association (BVCHEA) at Legends Event Center in Bryan, TX. The JV will start at 5 and Varsity will follow.
Elsewhere in the district on Friday, Mumford swept Somerville in three sets (25-21, 25-16, and 25-13), while Hearne had a bye.
Coming up tomorrow (Tuesday), Hearne is at Somerville, and Mumford is at Snook.
