BURTON’S SIGSBEE MAKING THIRD TRIP TO STATE CROSS COUNTRY MEET
Peyton Sigsbee of the Burton Lady Panthers is going to be making her third straight trip to the State Cross Country Meet.
Sigsbee finished fifth overall at the Regional Meet that was held yesterday (Monday) at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. She ran the two-mile course in a time of 13:20.73.
As a team, Burton finished 10 overall out of 21 high schools that competed in the meet.

Meanwhile, on the boys side, Devlin Douglas was the lone Burton Panther participating in the Regional Meet. He finished 20th overall with a time of 18:48.54.
The State Cross Country Meet will be held on Friday, November 1, in Round Rock.
