VOTING IN SCARECROW EXTRAVAGANZA ENDS THURSDAY
Voting concludes tomorrow (Thursday) in Main Street Brenham’s 21st Annual Scarecrow Extravaganza.
The public has the opportunity to vote in several categories and choose which of the 20 entries are their favorite. Over $1,400 in cash prizes will go to the winning scarecrows.
Prizes include:
- Best Overall for $300, sponsored by Hermann Furniture.
- Most Votes for $200, sponsored by Christy Schlottmann Farmers Insurance.
- Judges Choice for $200, sponsored by KTEX/KWHI.
- Best Fall Theme for $125, sponsored by The Pomegranate.
- Most Creative for $125, sponsored by The Laundry Event Hall.
- Most Educational for $125, sponsored by Kay Robbins Remax.
- Silliest for $125, sponsored by Jet Set Chocolates.
- Cutest for $125, sponsored by Old 300 Title Brenham.
- Honorable Mention for $100, sponsored by Ant Street Inn.
Ballots are available at sponsoring locations and the Visitor Center. The winners will be revealed on Tuesday, October 29th.
