The Christmas Stroll and Lighted Parade will take place on Friday and Saturday, December 6th and 7th, with the parade on Saturday at 6 p.m.  This year’s theme is “Peace on Earth”.

The parade will ride down the traditional route, beginning at the intersection of Main and Market Streets and traveling west towards Austin Street.  It will then make a U-turn at West Main Street and North Austin Street before heading east on Alamo Street and concluding at Market Street.

Entries will be judged across several categories, including Best Overall, Best Parade Theme, Most Original, Best Lights and Best Spirit of the Season.

Registration for the parade is available at https://jingle.cityofbrenham.org through Monday, November 18th.  There are no registration fees to enter.  No more than two vehicles are allowed per participating organization, not including walkers.

The Christmas Stroll will feature shopping with the Jingle Bell Market at the Ant Street Inn and the First Friday Market on the square, carriage and fire truck rides, and a Kid Zone with a snow village and life-sized snow globe.  There will also be a concert on Friday, December 6th: “Cold Nights, Holiday Tunes” with Suede, beginning at 7 p.m.
