WINTER DANCE PARTY COMING TO THE BARNHILL CENTER SATURDAY
The official and authentic re-creation of the final tour by Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper will be performed at the Barnhill Center.
The show will take place this Saturday starting at 7pm.
John Mueller’s “Winter Dance Party” is the only show endorsed and honored by Buddy’s widow, Maria Elena Holly. It’s also the only show endorsed by the Holly, Valens, and Richardson estates.
The live concert includes two hours of unbridled, high voltage hit songs of these early Rock “n” Roll greats including: “That’ll Be the Day,” “Peggy Sue,” “Oh, Boy,” “Rave On,” “La Bamba,” “Chantilly Lace,” and many more.
The critically acclaimed star, John Mueller, is today’s most popular Buddy Holly artist. He portrayed Holly in the touring version of the London/Broadway hit musical “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Show.”
He is joined by Linwood Sasser, who fills the legendary footsteps of the Big Bopper. Ritchie Valens is portrayed by Ray Anthony, a renowned star of the “Legends of Rock and Roll” show at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Tickets to the performance can be purchased at the TBC Box Office in the Visitor Center at 111 West Main Street in Brenham, or by calling 979-337-7240.
