BRENHAM WOMAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT

A Brenham woman was arrested early Saturday, charged with assault.
Brenham police report that early Saturday morning at 1:50, Officers responded to the 1100 block of Schumacher Street in reference to a welfare concern. Investigation revealed that Khennadie Preuss, 27 of Brenham, assaulted a family member. Preuss was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where she was booked in.
