WASHINGTON CO. MINISTERIAL ASSOCIATION HOSTING THANKSGIVING SERVICE SUNDAY

  

The Washington County Ministerial Association (WCMA) will host its annual county-wide Thanksgiving Service this Sunday.

The theme for the one-hour worship service, which will begin at 6 p.m. at the Cannery Kitchen in Brenham, is “Unity of Faith”.  Pastor Calvin Kossie, president of the WCMA, invites the Washington County community to come out and demonstrate their unity.

Delivering the Thanksgiving message will be Pastor Terrance Michael Phillips of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.  The church building was destroyed this summer in a fire. 

Phillips says the rebuild is in progress and that the church has a contractor it will move forward with.  He says the church is planning to do more fundraisers to help with the project.  The offering from the Thanksgiving service will be donated to the church.
