CHRISTMAS PARADE, SIP & SHOP BEGIN HOLIDAY EVENTS THIS WEEKEND IN GIDDINGS

  

Giddings opens up its slate of holiday festivities this weekend.

First will be the inaugural “Bright Lights and Christmas Delights” parade on Saturday at 7 p.m., beginning at Simmang Park and ending at the downtown plaza. 

The theme for the lighted parade is “Christmas Characters”.

KTEX-106’s Eilish will be broadcasting live from the parade in the KTEX Country Cruiser. 

Then on Sunday, the Giddings Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Sip & Shop Christmas Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Silos on 77, 1031 County Road 223.

Guests will be able to browse through numerous vendors and get a head-start on their holiday shopping.  Cocktails and other beverages will be available, and there will be festive music and even an appearance from Santa.
