AUSTIN MAN ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

An Austin man was arrested Sunday after a traffic stop.
Brenham Police report that Sunday afternoon at 2:15, Sgt. Sierra Randle conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed the driver, Pedro Vences Jr., 31 of Austin, was placed in custody for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 oz., Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
