BELLVILLE SMALL TOWN CHRISTMAS DEC. 6-8
Bellville’s 42nd Annual Small Town Christmas celebration begins next weekend.
Three days of holiday merriment run from Friday, December 6th to Sunday, December 8th.
The festivities kick off on Friday at 6 p.m. with the lighting of the courthouse Christmas tree and the lighted parade through downtown Bellville. The fun will then move over to the Mini-Park at 6:30 p.m., where there will be a real snow slide, inflated activity area, petting zoo, mechanical bulls, and shopping with nonprofit food and drink vendors at the Jim Bishop Pavilion.
At 7:30 p.m., families can take photos with Santa in the Mini-Park gazebo. A street dance with the Red Bulls will close out the night at 8 p.m.
Saturday opens with Breakfast with Santa at Newman’s Bakery from 8 to 11 a.m. Holiday shopping continues at 9 a.m. with the Market Day on the Square and the Farmer’s Market under the Jim Bishop Pavilion, which will also include food trucks, music and performances.
St. John’s Lutheran Retreat Center, 4740 Highway 36 North, will have a drive-thru living nativity on Saturday and Sunday. The nativity will be open from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
