CAL MIDDLETON HORSEMANSHIP CLINIC BEGINS THURSDAY AT WASHINGTON CO. EXPO

  

A renowned professional horse trainer is hosting a horsemanship clinic starting this week in Brenham.

The Cal Middleton Horsemanship Clinic runs Thursday through Monday at the Washington County Expo.

Three classes will be offered at the clinic: horsemanship, stockmanship with cattle, and colt starting.  A youth clinic for young riders will be provided on Saturday.

According to his website, Middleton has won accolades and titles in numerous events such as reining, cow horse, cutting and ranch horse.  He is a past president of the Heart of America Brangus Association and a former judge for the National Reining Horse Association.  He is also a published author and has contributed to many equine magazines.

All riders will check in at 8 a.m. on Thursday to finalize registration.  Stalls and hook-ups are available on site.
