WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR BRENHAM CHRISTMAS STROLL PARADE

Contest.
The City of Brenham announced the winners today (Thursday) of the annual lighted Christmas parade through downtown on Saturday.
This year’s parade theme was “Peace on Earth”.
The top entries in the parade are:
- Best Lights: Bluebonnet Electric Co-op, winning $150 sponsored by LJ’s BBQ;
- Best Spirit: Reading with Rose, winning $150 sponsored by Blue Bell Creameries;
- Most Original: Grace Community Fellowship Kingdom Kids, winning $150 sponsored by South Land Title;
- Best Theme: Brenham’s First Baptist Church School, winning $150 sponsored by Haak Winery in Brenham;
- Best Overall: Brenham Quality Meat Market, winning $250 sponsored by Independence Coffee Company.
