TWO ACCIDENT CALLS THURSDAY, ONE EARLY FRIDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.
The Brenham Fire Department was called out to two motor vehicle accidents on Thursday and another early this (Friday) morning.
Around 4 p.m. Thursday, firefighters were dispatched to the 1800 block of Highway 290 West, where they found a two-vehicle accident. Units checked for injuries and found none, and there were no fluids leaking either. The department returned to service after both vehicles were cleared from the roadway.
Shortly before 7:30 p.m., BFD members went out to the 1400 block of Highway 290 West. There, they discovered a two-vehicle accident with injuries. They checked out the patients and turned care over to EMS when they arrived. Firefighters then cleaned debris from the roadway and cleared the scene once the vehicles were removed.
Approaching 4:30 a.m. today, units found a single-vehicle accident in the 1200 block of East Tom Green Street. The driver was not injured and no fluids were found, so they returned to the station.
