BRENHAM POLICE ARREST AUSTIN WOMAN FOR DRUG, UNLAWFUL WEAPON POSSESSION

An Austin woman was arrested Thursday night by Brenham police on drug and weapon charges.
Shortly after 10:30 p.m., Sergeant Jimmy Ha stopped a vehicle near the 2000 block of Highway 290 West.
Police reported an odor of marijuana was emitting from the vehicle, leading to a probable cause search.
The passenger, 29-year-old Tiffany Nguyen, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz., Possession of a Dangerous Drug and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. She was transported to the Washington County Jail.
