SEARCH ON FOR MISSING KANGAROO IN SEALY AREA
A Sealy-area family needs help bringing back their missing kangaroo.

According to a social media post from the owner, Marsha Matus, Rowdy the Roo was last seen around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday behind the truck stop at I-10 and Pyka Road.
Matus says Rowdy is nocturnal, so he is most likely to be active at nighttime and in the early morning hours, and will be resting during the day.
Rowdy is about 5 feet tall if he is on his full tail and weighs between 65 and 75 pounds. Matus says he will not harm people or pets.
Anyone who sees Rowdy is asked to contact the Austin County Sheriff’s Office or DPS.
