HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL HOLIDAY TOURNAMENTS GET UNDERWAY

BOYS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL

The Brenham Cubs return to the court later on today (Friday) as they take part in the Mike Smith Classic hosted by Victoria ISD. The Cubs will face King High School from Kingsville at 2pm, and then they are going to play Victoria East at 5:45pm. The tournament runs through tomorrow (Saturday).

In other action:

Bellville, Brazos-Wallis, and Columbus are at the Schulenburg Tournament.

Giddings is hosting a tournament that includes Sealy and Lexington as participants.

Mumford is hosting the Cotton Christmas Classic with Navasota and Caldwell as participants.

Waller is at the Conroe Christmas Classic.

A&M Consolidated is at the MT Rice Tournament.

Bryan Rudder is at the New Caney Tournament.

Somerville is at the Troy Tournament.

La Grange is at the Texas Bank Holiday Classic in Brownwood.

In a non-tournament game: Iola hosts Centerville at 1:15pm.

GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL

The Brenham Cubettes are looking to get back on the winning track as they take part in the MT Rice Tournament. Brenham will play Burleson this (Friday) morning at 11am, and then face Lewisville at 8pm. The tournament runs through Saturday.

In other action:

A&M Consolidated, College Station, and Bryan Rudder host the second day of the Aggieland Holiday Classic.

Weimar is hosting a tournament with Bellville, Lexington, and La Grange as participants.

Sealy and Columbus are at the Smithville Tournament.

Waller is hosting the Waller Baller Tournament.

Navasota is at the Tarkington Holiday Classic.

Anderson-Shiro is at the Clifton Tournament.

Mumford is hosting the Cotton Christmas Classic with Giddings as one of the participants.

Somerville and Snook are at the Thorndale Tournament.
