BRENHAM POLICE ARREST THREE ON THURSDAY
Brenham police reported three arrests Thursday night on charges including assault and public intoxication.
At 9:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Highway 290 East in reference to a disturbance. Initial investigation revealed 29-year-old Andrew Gee of Cypress allegedly assaulted a family member during an argument. Gee was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication and Assault Family Violence. Gee was transported to the Washington County Jail.
Approaching 10:30 p.m., Officer Le’Darion Jenkins and Officer Brayten Rolling conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Highway 290 West. Police say a probable cause search showed the driver, 51-year-old Paul Anthony Madison III of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was in possession in marijuana and a firearm. Madison was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. and Unlawful Carrying of a Firearm.
Then around 10:45 p.m., Officer Rolling and Sergeant Jimmy Ha were called out to the 800 block of West First Street in reference to a verbal disturbance. Investigation determined that 58-year-old Aldonia Marie Johnson of Brenham was intoxicated. Johnson was charged with Public Intoxication and taken to the Washington County Jail without incident.
