Clara Smith was the first member of Generation Beta born at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Brenham. She was born at 7:02 a.m. Thursday.
Clara is the daughter of Kaila and Austin, who traveled to the Brenham hospital from Chappell Hill. She is also the youngest of three children.
Her parents say it was a shock to start the new year with a newborn, but they are ready to make lasting memories with her.
