DEPUTIES AND FIREFIGHTERS RESPOND TO VEHICLE FIRE IN FAYETTE COUNTY

Fayette County emergency crews responded to the scene of a vehicle fire on Wednesday morning.
According to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek, a 9-1-1 call came in around 9:45am reporting a skid steer on fire located on Roznov Road near Highway 159.
The Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department, along with Sheriff’s Deputies Wesley Arrison and Jared Michalec, were dispatched to the scene.
Upon their arrival, it was discovered that the skid steer was fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters quickly contained and extinguished the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under a further investigation, but it is believed to have originated in the engine area.
