12 SENTENCED IN 21ST DISTRICT COURT
Twelve people pleaded guilty and were sentenced in 21st District Court this week before Judge Carson Campbell.
26-year-old Antolin Urquiza Orozco of Austin, sentenced to 8 years in prison for a second degree felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Orozco was also sentenced to 5 years in prison for third degree felony-level Possession of a Controlled Substance.
41-year-old Leigh Ann Cavner of Brenham, sentenced to 5 years in prison and ordered to pay $180 in restitution for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a third degree felony.
41-year-old Jonathan Michael Rogers of Bryan, sentenced to 10 months in the Washington County Jail for Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information Less than 5 Items, a state jail felony, and Theft of Property $2,500 - $30,000, also a state jail felony.
36-year-old Jennifer Michelle Phillips of Katy, sentenced to 196 days in the Washington County Jail for Credit/Debit Card Abuse, a state jail felony.
57-year-old John Felder of Brenham, sentenced to 10 years’ probation for Assault of a Peace Officer, a second degree felony. Felder was also fined $2,000 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service. Additionally, he was sentenced to 5 years’ probation for state jail felony-level Possession of a Controlled Substance, ordered to pay $180 in restitution and must complete a drug offender education program.
29-year-old Charles Andrew Bolin Jr. of Burton, sentenced to 6 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Terroristic Threat Against a Public Servant, a third degree felony. Bolin was also fined $1,000 and must complete 100 hours of community service.
27-year-old Cristina Renee Ramirez of Brenham, sentenced to 5 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Violation of a Protective Order for Assault/Stalking, a third degree felony. Ramirez must also pay a $1,000 fine, perform 120 hours of community service and undergo a drug offender education program.
31-year-old James Ira Thomas IV of Brenham, sentenced to 4 years’ probation for Theft of Property Less than $2,500 with Two or More Previous Convictions, a third degree felony. Thomas was also fined $500 and ordered to complete 100 hours of community service.
32-year-old Julio Cesar Lopez-Soto of Lexington, sentenced to 4 years’ probation for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More, a third degree felony. Lopez-Soto must also pay a $500 fine, $100 to the EMS trauma fund and $60 in restitution. He will also have to perform 100 hours of community service and have an interlock device on his vehicle.
26-year-old Tatiana Alexandria Rojas of Houston, sentenced to 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a second degree felony. Rojas must also pay a $1,000 fine and $180 in restitution, as well as perform 100 hours of community service. In addition, Rojas was sentenced to 3 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility, a third degree felony.
18-year-old Elijah Jamaar Green of Washington, sentenced to 2 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a third degree felony. Green was also fined $250 and ordered to complete 50 hours of community service.
42-year-old Dustin Charles Mitchamore of Brenham, sentenced to 2 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Theft of Property $2,500 - $30,000, a state jail felony. Mitchamore must also pay $18,259 in restitution.
