SCHOOL/OFFICE CLOSINGS FOR WEDNESDAY

With the wintery weather conditions, several local schools have decided to cancel classes for Wednesday, while some are opening on a delay.

In Washington County, Brenham ISD and Burton ISD classes have been canceled for Wednesday.

Grace Lutheran School, Christ Lutheran School, and St. Paul’s Christian Day School will be closed as well on Wednesday.

In Austin County, after initially planning to open on a two-hour delay, Bellville ISD and Sealy ISD will now be closed on Wednesday. Brazos ISD in Wallis and Faith Academy in Bellville are also going to be closed.  

In Waller County, Hempstead ISD and Waller ISD schools are closed as well for Wednesday.

In Grimes County, Navasota ISD, Anderson-Shiro ISD, and Richards ISD are closed. Iola ISD will be opening on a two-hour delay.

In Brazos County, all of the Bryan ISD and College Station ISD campuses will remain closed on Wednesday.

In Burleson County, Somervile ISD, Snook ISD, and Caldwell ISD will all be closed.

In Lee County, Giddings ISD and Dime Box ISD will be opening on two-hour delays, while Lexington ISD will be closed.

In Fayette County, Round Top-Carmine ISD, Fayetteville ISD, and La Grange ISD will be opening on two-hour delays.

In Colorado County, Columbus ISD will be remained closed.

Blinn College and Texas A&M are scheduled to be open regular hours.

Meanwhile, classes at Prairie View A&M will be going to virtual operations on Wednesday.       

                                                                                                                                                                   

City of Burton residential trash pickup on Tuesday has been moved to Wednesday. Burton City Hall will remain closed on Wednesday.
