WASHINGTON CO. APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD TO ELECT 2025 OFFICERS

  

The Washington County Appraisal District Board of Directors will gather for its first meeting of the new year on Tuesday.

The meeting will open with electing 2025 board officers, followed by discussion and action on the 2025 board meeting calendar and the appraisal district’s 2025 budget calendar, which includes dates for when budget workshops and public hearings will be held.

The board will then review the results of the 2024 Methods and Assistance Program (MAP) report from the Texas Comptroller’s Office. 

Board members will recess into executive session to perform the annual evaluation of the chief appraiser, before returning to open session to potentially take action on the items discussed.  They will then hear the chief appraiser’s monthly report. 

The board will meet Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the appraisal district office at 1301 Niebuhr Street in Brenham.
