HUNTSVILLE HANDS CUBS THEIR FIRST DISTRICT LOSS
In a battle of the top two teams in District 17-5A, this time it was the Huntsville Hornets coming out on top as they defeated the Brenham Cub Basketball Team 74-66.
The Cubs won the first game between them 79-58 back on December 20 in Brenham.
With the victory, Huntsville moves to just one game behind Brenham for first place in the standings. Each team has four games left to play.
In Friday's game, it was Issac Powell leading Brenham with 14 points and seven rebounds. JaKobe Mathis added 14 points and five rebounds. Elijah Ferguson finished with 13 points.
