GRIMES CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE CHARGES TWO IN FATAL SHOOTING
Two men have been charged in Grimes County after a fatal shooting on Wednesday in the Plantersville area.
The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, dispatch received a call about a man with a gunshot wound at a home off of Blue Lake Drive.
Members of the sheriff’s office, Todd Mission Police Department, Navasota Police Department, Grimes County District Attorney’s Office, Grimes County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office and the Texas Rangers responded to the call.
The male victim, whose identity has not been released, died at the scene.
After investigation, Thomas Paul King and Rune Cristien King were arrested. Thomas King is charged with Murder, and both men are charged with Aggravated Assault by Threat with a Deadly Weapon.
It is not known if the two men are related.
The sheriff’s office says its investigation is ongoing, and no further information can be released at this time.
