KWHI, KTEX-106 TO BRING IN LOCAL STUDENTS THURSDAY FOR WORLD RADIO DAY

KWHI and KTEX-106 are celebrating World Radio Day tomorrow (Thursday) by inviting local students to learn more about the world of broadcasting.

Students from Brenham High School’s audiovisual class will visit the KWHI and KTEX-106 studios tomorrow morning to see how the stations operate and get hands-on experience on the air.

Students will make announcements at approximately 10:35 a.m. on KTEX-106.  They may also join KWHI’s Country Store.

Adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012, World Radio Day recognizes the impact of radio as one of the most dependable and widely utilized forms of media.
