SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTS TWO ON MONDAY FOR WARRANTS, ANOTHER FOR UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLE USE

  

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office booked three people into jail on Monday. 

Deasia Deneise Hynson

Shortly before 6 a.m., Corporal Rosa Salinas conducted a traffic stop in the 11000 block of Highway 36 North for no front license plate.  The sheriff’s office says the driver, 23-year-old Deasia Deneise Hynson of Bryan, was found to have an invalid driver’s license along with an active local warrant.  Hynson was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for Driving While License Invalid and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.

Shawn Thomas Sullivan

Just after 10:45 a.m., Deputy Matthew Presswood initiated a traffic stop for no front license plate in the 18000 block of Highway 105.  A driver’s license check revealed that the driver, 23-year-old Shawn Thomas Sullivan of Washington, had an active warrant for Criminal Nonsupport.  Sullivan was transported to the Washington County Jail for booking. 

Dustin Wayne Myers

Around 1:30 p.m., Corporal Salinas stopped a motorcycle in the 200 block of South Blue Bell Road for no license plate.  The driver, identified as 35-year-old Dustin Wayne Myers of Houston, was reported to not have a driver’s license.  Additionally, according to the sheriff’s office, a registration check revealed that the motorcycle was stolen from Harris County.  Myers was taken into custody and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and No Driver’s License.
