BRENHAM POLICE MAKE WEEKEND ARRESTS FOR UNLAWFUL FIREARM POSSESSION, MUNICIPAL WARRANTS
Brenham police booked two people into jail on Sunday.
Approaching 1 a.m., Officer Garrett Downs conducted a parks check in the 1300 block of South Jackson Street and observed a vehicle in the parking lot with the back hatch open. Officer Downs proceeded to investigate, due to the City of Brenham having an ordinance where all city parks close at 11 p.m. and open back up at 5 a.m. daily. After investigation, police arrested an individual identified as 17-year-old Aijalon McClyde of Prairie View on a charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm – Gang Member. McClyde was transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
Around 11:30 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of South Austin Street. It was found that 20-year-old Beautiful Heaven Dannhaeuser of Brenham had two active warrants out of City of Brenham Municipal Court for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility and Running a Stop Sign. Dannhaeuser was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where she was booked for the two warrants.
