CUB POWERLIFTING RESULTS (2/17/25)

HIGH SCHOOL POWERLIFTING

The Brenham Cub Powerlifting Team took part in their final Brazos Valley Powerlifting League meeting before Regionals yesterday at Brenham High School.

In the 165lb. weight class, Jovian Cruz finished sixth with a combined lift of 775 pounds.

For the 220lb. weight class, Caleb Espinoza finished in first place with a combined lift of 1,170 pounds, while teammates Brock Benker and Mason Seeber tied for fourth with each lifting a combined 1,065 pounds.

In the 242lb. division, Owen Robinson was third with a 1,210 pound combined lift, while Gonzalo Chavez-Barbosa finished sixth with a combined lift of 1,135 pounds.

For the 275lb. weight class, Aaron Carlile was second with a combined lift of 1,270 pounds. Andre Mojica was third with a combined lift of 1,265 pounds.

Carter Poehlmann rounded out the participants with a combined life of 1,085 pounds in the 308 division.

Head Coach Ryan Jones also announced that they had six Cubettes qualify for Regionals.
