UNITY THEATRE TO PRESENT ‘THE ORIGINALIST’ FEB. 27 – MARCH 9
A political drama between two polar opposites seeking to defend their version of the truth comes to Unity Theatre in Brenham next week.
“The Originalist”, by John Strand, plays in Unity’s Studio Space from February 27th to March 9th.
The performance stars a bright, liberal, Harvard Law School graduate who embarks on a clerkship with conservative Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. The two clash ideologically, but she soon discovers him to be an unexpected mentor.
Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sundays.
The cast and staff of the show will host a talk-back following the preview performance on Thursday, February 27th. The director, Kate Revnell-Smith, will chat with audience members prior to the performance on Saturday, March 8th.
Tickets are now on sale to the general public. They are available at https://unitybrenham.org.
