The gala took place on Saturday, February 15th at the Yegua Center and treated over 250 guests to a steak dinner, along with live music and live and silent auctions.
Education Foundation Vice President Joni Urbanosky told the Burleson County Tribune that the event raised $50,000 for the foundation. Proceeds from the live and silent auctions combined for over $30,000.
Students and student organizations that donated items for the auctions directly received 40 percent of the profit, with the other 60 percent going to the foundation.
Since being established in 2022, the foundation has contributed over $30,000 to staff and students through grants and scholarships.
