BRENHAM PD MAKES SIX WEEKEND ARRESTS, INCLUDING FOR ASSAULT, CRIMINAL TRESPASS
The Brenham Police Department reported six arrests between Friday evening and Sunday night.

Approaching 6:30 p.m. Friday, Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Longwood Drive. Investigation showed that the driver, 26-year-old Claudia Aguilar of Brenham, showed to have three active warrants out of Washington County: Open Container in Motor Vehicle, Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility and No Driver’s License. Aguilar was placed into custody and booked at the Washington County Jail for her three warrants and, for this traffic stop, No Driver’s License.

A few minutes after 7:30 p.m., Officer Ramon Torres was dispatched to a reported hit and run in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West. Upon investigation, police say 33-year-old Erick Chirino of Houston struck a vehicle on the public roadway and left the scene. He was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for Accident Involving Damage to a Vehicle Greater than $200. Additionally, police say the passenger, 32-year-old Richard Blanco of Houston, was in possession of marijuana, so he was booked into jail for Possession of Marijuana Less than 2oz.

On Saturday, around 7:15 p.m., Officer Downs was called out to the 1200 block of LJ Street. Investigation revealed that 17-year-old Roberto Sabido of Brenham allegedly assaulted another family member. Sabido was taken to the Washington County Jail and booked for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.

Shortly after 6:15 p.m. Sunday, Officer Torres responded to the 800 block of Texan Trail in reference to an assault. Police say their investigation determined that 37-year-old Shawn Abre Pritchett of Brenham allegedly assaulted a victim. Pritchett was placed into custody for Assault Causing Bodily Injury and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.

Nearing 10 p.m., Officer Downs was dispatched to the 1400 block of North Park Street. After investigation, 57-year-old Edward Clark of Brenham was arrested for Criminal Trespass and booked in at the Washington County Jail.
