Coach Shirley’s coaching philosophy emphasizes not only technical skill development but also the mental and emotional aspects of the game. She is committed to instilling confidence, promoting positive communication, and developing resilience in her athletes, both on and off the court. She also values a team-first mentality, where athletes support one another and work together toward common goals.
“We are excited to welcome Coach Shirley to the Navasota ISD family,” said Coach Trey Allen, NISD Athletic Director. “Her dedication to developing student-athletes and building a culture of excellence will make a lasting impact on our volleyball program.”
Outside of coaching, Coach Shirley enjoys growing her faith at church, attending CrossFit classes, and spending time with her family. She is eager to become a part of the Navasota community and looks forward to building a volleyball program known for its hard work, dedication, and success.
