BURTON ISD NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION OPENS APRIL 7
Burton ISD will open registration on April 7th for all Pre-K – 6th grade students who are new to the school district for the 2025-26 school year.
Registration can be done at www.burtonisd.net. An active email address is required to complete registration.
Assistance will be provided as needed at the Burton Elementary School office from April 7-11 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
To be eligible for prekindergarten, a child must be 3 or 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2025. Students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025 to be eligible for kindergarten.
Burton ISD offers free prekindergarten for students who meet eligibility criteria listed on the district’s website. For students who do not meet those qualifications, the district offers tuition-based Pre-K if space is available.
New student transfer applications will be open starting May 19th through June 12th and can be obtained at either the district’s central office, the campus office, or www.burtonisd.net.
Online registration for returning students will open on May 19th.
