BRENHAM MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT TO COMPETE SATURDAY IN REGIONAL SPELLING BEE

  

A Brenham Middle School student will represent Washington County tomorrow (Saturday) at the Scripps Regional Spelling Bee.

Christopher Lewis advanced to the regional bee after last month’s Washington County Spelling Bee.  Lewis is a 5th grade student and the son of Selena Cerda and DeQuincey Lewis.

The regional spelling bee will take place at Houston Community College’s West Houston Institute, 2811 Hayes Road, Building C.  Check-in begins at 9 a.m., and the spelling bee starts at 10 a.m.

The top three spellers from the regional spelling bee will move on to the Scripps National Spelling Bee to be held in the Washington, D.C. area in May.
