BLUE BELL FUN RUN RESULTS

The 47^th Annual Blue Bell Fun Run was held this past Saturday morning in Brenham. Over 5,400 people gathered at the Brenham High School to take part in the half-marathon, the 10K, the 5K, and the Kids’ Mile.

For the half marathon, the Women’s overall winner was Sofie De Wandel of College Station with a time of 55:49.7. The Men’s overall winner was Landon Flies of Spring with a time of 1:14:36.3.

Gustavo Roman Jr. of Bryan was the Men’s overall winner in the 10K with a time of 34:33.7. Jazmin Mendoza of Richmond with a time of 36:53.6.

Gavin Almaguer of Sealy was the Men’s 5K winner with a time of 16:24.5. Ariel Bradley of Cypress was the Women’s 5K Winner with a time of 19:45.2.

We are still trying to get the winners for the Kids' Mile. The Boys overall winner was from Bryan with a time 6:12.0, while the Girls overall winner was from Waxahachie with a time of 7:01.9. The Fun Run website only had the first initial and the last names listed.

Proceeds from the Blue Bell Fun Run go to benefit the Brenham High School Athletic Department.
