BRENHAM PD MAKES ARRESTS SATURDAY FOR ASSAULT, CRIMINAL TRESPASS
Brenham police arrested two people on Saturday, one charged with assault and another with criminal trespass.
Just before 9:15 a.m., Sergeant Jose Perez responded to the 3500 block of Highway 36 South in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, investigation revealed that a suspect, identified as 21-year-old Jetta Shows of Brenham, had allegedly assaulted a victim. Shows was placed into custody for Assault Family Violence and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
Around 4:15 p.m., Officer Garrett Downs was dispatched to the 1500 block of Farewell Street. Police report that 39-year-old Ladarriel Maxie of Brenham had entered a habitation that was not his. Maxie was placed into custody for Criminal Trespass of a Habitation/Shelter/Superfund/Infrastructure.
