‘THE SOUND OF TEXAS’ TO FEATURE WILDFLOWER SEASON IN WASHINGTON COUNTY, BLUEBONNET FESTIVAL

  

The spring wildflowers in Washington County will be tomorrow’s (Tuesday) subject on Tumbleweed Smith’s “The Sound of Texas” program on KWHI.

City of Brenham Tourism and Marketing Manager Kathrine Briscoe will talk about the bluebonnets blooming around the area.  Meanwhile, Chappell Hill resident and Washington County Historical Commission Chair Tom Stevens will discuss the Bluebonnet Festival happening this weekend in Chappell Hill.

“The Sound of Texas” can be heard Monday through Saturday around 7:20 a.m. on AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com.
