HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED ON MARIJUANA AND WEAPON CHARGES
A Houston man was arrested by Brenham Police following a traffic stop on Monday morning.

Officers pulled over a vehicle just before 11:30am in the 800 Block of Highway 290 East for not displaying a front license plate.
After detecting the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, police made a probable cause search.
The driver, 24-year-old Drew Alexander Davis, was arrested for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, and Possession of Marijuana Under Two Ounces.
Davis was transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in, and released to jail staff.
