ADMIN PROFESSIONALS APPRECIATION LUNCHEON THURSDAY

A local architect and community advocate will be tomorrow’s (Thursday) featured guest for the 11th Annual Administrative Professionals Appreciation Luncheon.

Katie Burch, founder of PlanNorth Architectural Company, will speak at the program, which celebrates the contributions of administrative professionals in local workplaces.  The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Blinn College Student Center Banquet Room.

A Brenham Cubette, Blinn College valedictorian and Texas A&M Aggie, Burch has shaped Washington County’s architectural landscape and dedicated herself to local businesses, youth programs and public education.

Burch has held leadership roles within the Washington County Chamber of Commerce and the Brenham ISD Education Foundation Board.  She is also a TEDx speaker, sharing insights on leadership with their presentation, “Treating Top Performers Like Leaders”.  Her firm, PlanNorth, celebrates its 15th anniversary this year and is a two-time Aggie 100 honoree, recognized as one of the fastest-growing Aggie-owned businesses worldwide.

Katie and her husband also operate several local businesses, including real estate development ventures.  Her firm’s notable projects in Washington County include renovations for Kenjura Tile, Leroy Dreyer Baseball Stadium, Edward Jones Brice Milliron, Wellmann Insurance, Washington County Road and Bridge, Hyundai of Brenham, Germania Insurance, and numerous churches and schools.

All attendees will receive gift bags and have the chance to win door prizes.

The luncheon is hosted by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.  Ticket sales have concluded.

KWHI and KTEX-106 are headline sponsors.
