ACCIDENT CALL, FALSE ALARM FOR BRENHAM FD ON THURSDAY

The Brenham Fire Department was called out twice on Thursday.

At 9 a.m., firefighters responded to H-E-B, 2508 South Day Street, for a transportation incident.  They arrived to discover a two vehicle accident.  Personnel checked for injuries and fluids leaking, but found none, so they returned to the station.

Just shy of 6:15 p.m., units went out to the Brenham State Supported Living Center, 4001 Highway 36 South, for a report of an alarm sounding.  They made location to find the alarm had been reset and that their services were not needed.
